Welcome to UConn Music Performance LabThe Music Psychology Lab at the University of Connecticut investigates the cognitive processes involved in music. The lab specializes in longitudinal case studies of musicians preparing for performance. In addition, the lab is studying listeners’ responses to music, entrainment to music, and effects of movement on cognition. We are always looking for musicians, both expert and amateur, who are willing to participate in studies. If you are interested, please read projects: Performance Cue Survey and Study Your Own Music Performance. Please contact Roger Chaffin for more information. |
